WHY NOT?

For many years I have been driving easy.  Not only does this pace feel  good, recently I have been reminded about how many benefits there are to slowing down. 

Your car's energy efficient "sweet spot" occurs between 50-60 mph. 

When you slow down here are just some of the things that will happen:  

      You save money.

       Lessen pollution.

       Reduce dependence on foreign oil.

       Impact global warming.

        Delay Peak Oil.

       Extend the life of your automobile.

       Enjoy a safer drive and arrive relaxed.
 

I have long advocated for easy driving as an individual act of fuel conservation.  If we make this a collective, ongoing act, it will send a political message and save a lot of energy.  By using our "Drive Easy" symbol we will remind fellow drivers to conserve.  This is a grassroots message from the American people, together we can spread the word!
